Half Term...

Why is it that as parents we are all programmed to feel that if we are not entertaining our children every minute of the day during a holiday with paid treats and outings that for some reason they are missing out??? I decided that this half term we would do one big treat - a trip to London to meet friends and the day on the SouthBank in the sunshine and the rest of the time we made things, spent time with friends, went on walks, baked cakes, had cinema and popcorn at home! and generally enjoyed each others company and those of others....When I was a child this is what we did!

re-igniting this blog...2010 ...new Year new blog...need to decide on a raison d'etre for this one..all other blogs have been about me and my family....This one will be a bout general musings on life..how it hits us, where it takes us , how nothing but a good cup of tea and some hot buttered toast makes the world feela better place..
